Julia Newton - Festival Director
Julia is a 4th year student at St Andrews University, studying Social Anthropology and Film Studies. During her time at university, she has been an active member of the filmmaking subcommittee, Rogue Productions, and currently resides as President. She has also been involved in several projects, including 'Unrealistic Expectations About Love', her debut film which she wrote, directed, edited and produced, that went on to win 'Best Film' at the Halfcut Film Festival in 2010. When she graduates in 2011, she hopes to go the National Film and Television School and continue her filmmaking career.

Charlotte Dean - Media Director
Charlotte is a 4th year student studying Art History and Film Studies at University of St Andrews. Throughout her university years, she has been involved with StAnza, Scotland's Poetry Festival and has been a production assistant on several student film projects. As the secretary of Rogue Productions, St Andrews filmmaking subcommittee, and active member of FilmSoc she is passionate about anything and everything film related. After graduation in 2011, she plans to pursure a career in the film industry, hopefully in the festival or production sector, with her sights set on Vancouver.

Anette Dujisin - Sponsorship & Volunteer Co-ordinator
Anette is a first year PhD student at the University of St. Andrews Department of Film Studies researching internationalist non‐fiction filmmaking. She has been involved in film for almost a decade working with award winning Italian filmmaker Corso Salani as assistant director, among other productions. Her experience is focused on non‐fiction filmmaking and the films she has worked on have taken her to such diverse countries as Italy, Portugal, Spain, Hungary, Russia, Bosnia‐Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova, Latvia, Finland and Israel giving her work an international outlook and practice. In 2007 the docu‐fiction “Imatra” made solely by Salni, Anette and an actress was awarded the prize “Cineaste du Present” at the Locarno Film Festival.

Dr. Alex Fischer - CEO
For the past 10 years Dr Alex Fischer has been involved in organising and operating film festivals of various sizes and foci. It is this connection to the practical aspects of film festival functionality which inspires his academic research. It is his ambition to develop a structured means of communicating the fundamental aspects of film festival operation and, in doing so provide a resource for film festival organisers interested in assessing and ultimately validating and/or defending the inherent worth of their particular event.
