What is the Blitz?

The 60 Hour Film Blitz is a short film festival designed to celebrate the 600th anniversary of St Andrews by encouraging local film makers, students and citizens alike, to take to the streets of this historic town and get creative.

We ask potential film makers to register for the competition and then make a film of no more than 3 minutes over the course of 60 Hours. We then exhibit the films, presenting awards to the best, at an exhibition ceremony judged by a selection of highly respected judges.

We welcome submissions from any resident of St Andrews. We will provide you with a camera, actors and all the help you need to make a short film. All that you need is a little imagination!
